Natural Touch Ayurveda

Ayurveda is one of the great gifts of the sages of ancient India to mankind and is accepted as the oldest scientific medical system, with a long record of clinical experience. Ayurveda is the original contribution of India (Bharatha) to the world and treats man as a whole – which is a combination of body, mind and soul.
Its written history takes definite shape with the codification of hundreds of slokas of Ayur-Vedic wisdom into ‘Samhitas’. Its highly integrated approach is evident from the way Ayurvedic treatment was divided into eight segments such as Kaya Chikitsa (General medicine), Bala Chikitsa (Pediatrics), Graha Chikitsa (Psychiatry), Urdgwanga Chikitsa (ENT, Ophthalmology), Salya Chikitsa (Surgery), Damshtra Chikitsa (Toxicology), Jara Chikitsa (Geriatrics) and Vrisha Chikitsa (Aphrodisiac treatment). Preventive measures and practical principles of preventive medicines (Swasthavritha) with Dinacharya (daily regimens), ritucharya (seasonal regimens) along with sound dietary (nutritional) practices / regulation as also with principles of satvrita (good conduct).
Natural Touch Ayurveda has their roots in the traditional Ayurveda Kalari of Kerala. We began our journey way back in 1960. Since then it was established as the great ‘ Ayurvedic kalari marma and mantra chikitsa’ lead by the great ayurvedic Ashta Vaidya (Marmani) Kuttan Pillai, who passed his insight and expertise to our father Vaidhya Sivan Pillai. Now this knowledge has been passed on to his daughter, Shajini Pillai and P. R S Kumar. We manufacture our own organic herbal medicine to use in all our treatments with utmost care and importance. The treatments are carried out by qualified, experienced and skillful therapists who are available round the clock for all kinds of treatments including Panchakarma and Kerala specialties which are systematically and attentively carried out under the supervision of Vaidya.
Ayurveda means the knowledge of life longevity (Ayusho veda Ayurveda). It is developed more than 5000 years ago by highly evolved spiritual beings. When you get right down to it, balance is the keystone of Ayurveda. The philosophy holds that there are three basic constitutions, or doshas—vata, pitta, and kapha—that make up our physical, mental, and emotional selves. One dosha usually dominates, but ideally the three exist in harmony. That’s the healthy state. When the doshas get out of balance, illness can result. According to believers, Ayurveda’s lifestyle guidelines keep the doshas in equilibrium and the herbal remedies and proper diet realign them. It’s an approach that’s remarkably in line with current thinking about healthy living, as well as increasing scientific evidence that the mind and body interact to maintain health and fight disease. Because Ayurveda concentrates on wellness, it picks up another contemporary tailwind—skepticism toward and frustration with Western medicine. Ayurveda treatment concentrates on root case of problems rather than symptoms which give permanent health solution.
Pollution, irregular food habits, lack of exercises, sudden climatic changes etc. causes physical strains, laziness, mental stress, muscle stiffness, body pain, lack of sleep etc. To restore perfect health we present treatments and therapies through natural and herbal elements.
